South Hinksey is a tiny village nestled between the A34 and the railway, just south of Oxford. Despite its small size, its proximity to the busy A34 means we regularly attend tyre emergencies nearby. Access is via the Hinksey Hill interchange.
Help in South Hinksey is usually needed at home or at a safe stopping place near the A34 Southern By-pass and the A4144 Abingdon Road.
South Hinksey is small, but the A34 Southern By-pass Road runs only a couple of hundred metres away, and the A423 and the A4144 Abingdon Road are close by. If a tyre fails on any of these, or on the car outside your home, we can come straight to you at any time of day or night.
Our van carries new branded tyres in common sizes, and we fit and balance them where you are. A nail or screw does not always mean a new tyre: we repair punctures to BS AU 159 if the damage is in a repairable part of the tread. Locking wheel nut removal and jump starts are also available. We cover North Hinksey, Osney, Iffley and Donnington from the same base, about three miles away, and there is no call-out charge.
